Revealing VanityTrove July 2013

Hey all, I believe you'd heard all about the new big thing that's gonna happen at VanityTrove  this month yah? 
Guess what? This trove box that I just received earlier this July, would be the last trove that VT handpicked the products for me! Next box would be one that I will be choosing the items myself! ^_^

Anyhoo, let's see what's inside this July's trove box. ^_~

D'Glamouric Trinity Series M'asque. What fascinates me is the ingredient Sheep Placenta. Although I did heard quite alot of the use of placenta in anti-aging products but I had so far not used any products containing placenta. This shall be my first time! ^^
Here's a short introduction of placenta and the use of it in cosmetics taken from wiki:
The placenta is an organ which links the fetus to the mother in mammals for transfer of oxygen and nutrients to the fetus and fetal waste products to the mother. Many species of mammals consume their placentas for nutrition purpose. Human and animal placenta's are also widely used as a source of extracts to be used as ingredients in various consumer products such as pharmecuticals, cosmetics, hair care products, health tonics, and food products other than ritual consumption by the mother or family. The most common type of placenta used is sheep. Allegedly the placenta extract serves as a source of protein and hormones, predominantly estrogen and progesterone in the cosmetics in which it is used. (ref from Wiki)

Neutrogena Hydro Boost Water Gel, great for those who often gets clogged pores as this is non-comedogenic (it won't clog our pores) and at the same time replenishing moisture to our skin.

Avance Dou Demaquillant Super, a remover that can remove waterproof eye makeup. Read more about Avance here.

Vichy Normaderm skincare samples.

The deep cleansing purifying gel, basically a face cleanser in gel form. I kinda like using gel type cleanser now over the facial foam cleanser as I feel that gel ones tend to make my skin less taut after cleansing.

Tri-Active Moisturizer that contains Salicylic acid, Glycolic acid and LHA to fight against skin imperfections and oil-control.


Hyaluspot to be used on targeted spots like pimple or inflammation spots.


The only full size product is from Skin Inc (Skinc).

Skinc isn't new to me as I had tried their products and facial before but it was rather long ago... I haven't really used up the products so I wasn't able to do a proper review then. So here I have a 30ml Regulate Vitamin C serum. Probably I can add this now into my moisturizer? ^,^

BB Cream with full coverage! Like WOW! *sucker for good coverage foundation* I'm really intrigued to try this out!~


Besides the BB cream, there's also mineral powder, lip balm & stain.

Ok.. the names on the stick says it all~ ^_^

The lip & cheek stain amazed me after a min or two by becoming redder and redder... I didn't know that it would turn deeper in colour, only realised it when the red stain caught my eyes while I was doing my own stuffs. lolx~ Both feel rather creamy and moisturizing on my lips.

The Amazing base loose powder in Warm Silk shade, has sun protection factor of 20, UVA P++ and water resistant to up to 40 minutes.
This shade is quite yellowish but still have a little bit of beige tone to it. (Compare this shade with the rest here) It's a light neutral shade which probably suit many Singaporeans who are between fair to medium fair shade.

When I swatched it, it appeared a little light on my skin but after blending it out, it looks almost transparent. I probably can just wear this alone and head outdoors. ^_^
The powder feels slightly heavy yet coverage isn't great and its texture is soft and silky. After blending it out on my skin, the area applied with the powder seems to glow and looked as if its just been moisturized.
