About ob

In-between reality and a dream
Once upon a time, there lived a beautiful, gentle-hearted girl who loved nature. One night, after laying down to sleep, she suddenly found herself wandering in a world of darkness. It was a world that seemed familiar, almost nostalgic, and at the same time surreal. "Where am I?" she whispered to herself. No sooner had the words left her lips that she noticed gentle sakura petals blossoming from her body. With each new petal, her happiness grew and before long she was twirling around in a pink sakura world. As she continued to dance, the petals danced with her and the whole world began to shine. Happiness reigns in this world between reality and dreams, where princesses live in harmony and yet the woes of the world are not forgotten.

New Japanese way of applying double false eyelashes
Near the end of the event, there was a makeup demo.
The makeup artist taught us how to apply the new non-stacking double false eyelash method that are trending now in Japan.
Basically, we apply the 1st false eyelash at our lash line. Then apply the 2nd false eyelash about 3mm (or more) above the 1st one. For those who have double eyelids, you can apply the 2nd eyelash just under the fold of the double eyelid.
This method of applying false lashes creates a dolly yet slightly more dramatic and bigger eyes effect. Interesting much? ^_^ I think this method of applying false eyelashes is a really wonderful technique for the cosplayers to learn! It'll definitely make their eyes look double the size just like the manga/anime characters!

At the end of the event we are goofed around with the model's headdress! Lolx~

Shu Uemura offered everyone a makeover by their MUA and we also get to try on their new lashes!
Though I don't really want to opt for the Sakura mini flower eyelash since I already have droopy eyes and these lashes are meant to make eyes look droopy & innocent, hence wearing it makes my eyes double the droopy (and double the innocent?)! But I likey the pink lashes so I still chose this pair. ^__^" hhahax~
The MUA removed my initial eye makeup excluding my eyeliner and mascara with a UVUB mousse and applied a dolly-like eye makeup using mostly beigey-brown tone eyeshadows.
She touched up my eyeliner, eyebrow and then my foundation with Shu Uemura loose powder. Lastly, the MUA pat on some blusher with their Glow on Blush. After it's done, I get to wear the eyelash and bring back the case. Yeah~ I can rewear this pair of eyelash next time! *\^_,^/*~throws sakura~*
▲ Trying to make the HMMmmmmphhhh sad & innocent face... #Fail. Lolx~
