HELLO, SHIBUYA TOKYO provides a venue for the next generation's designers based in Shibuya in Tokyo and Singapore to present and express their ideas in Singapore. Throughout the duration of the project, major fashion brands based in Shibuya will open Pop-up Shops, emerging designers will hold exhibitions and fashion shows, and B2B Business meetings will also take place. Shibuya is one of the most vibrant places in Asia. What makes Shibuya unique is Tokyo's diverse culture and styles converge, coexits, and take root. Singapore on the other hand culturally plays a major role as an Asean Hub. Singapore is increasingly becoming a venue for the next generation of Japanese Designers and Artists to launch their international careers. This project is designed to not only introduce the culture of Shibuya but is also engineered to create opportunities for Japanese designers and Artists to collaborate with their Singaporean counterparts. The fashion, art, music and youth culture of the two cities developed over time converge to create new markets and new value. It is our hope to HELLO, SHIBUYA TOKYO will form a platform for both Shibuya and Singapore's next generation of talent from which new culture will be developed and ultimately prosper in both countries.

Pop-up stores to open during HELLO, SHIBUYA TOKYO, will showcase collaborative Hello Kitty products made especially for the project and zines featuring the work of artists that will be presenting their work during HELLO, SHIBUYA TOKYO. PHYSICAL TEMPO, a popular cutting-edge guerrilla shop in Tokyo, will also feature one of the participants.
