Event & Swatches: Make Up For Ever TechniColor Spring 2013

Early this year, MAKE UP FOR EVER launched the new TechniColor Palette for Spring 2013 in Singapore.

Last month I attended the exclusive Make Up For Ever (MUFE) event to know more about the new eyeshadow palette. It was held at the MUFE Academy.

Spring is all about Aquamarine shades this year. Besides the new Yellow formula, MUFE also included the greens & blues in this palette for us to play with!

Makeup Demostration

An eye makeup demo was done on a model. Her face and lips were already done except for her eyes as the MUA wanted to show us how to do the Technicolor look. Before she start, she had applied Yellow eyeshadow from the Technicolor palette all over her eyelids and lined the eyes with Aqua Eyes eyeliner in Turquoise (lash line) & Yellow (water line).

I managed to took pics & put up a step-by-step eyeshadow application done by the MUA for this Technicolor look. I had labelled the sequence with numbers at every bottom corner of the images.

How TechniColor comes about

TECNICOLOR COLLECTION
HYPER-PIGMENTED SHADES
The palette is this Spring’s must-have accessory, offering 8 bright, pumped-up shades of eyeshadow in a variety of matte, satiny, and iridescent textures. 5 basic shades, the mainstay of the timeless MAKE UP FOR EVER collection, ensure that there is something for everyone: Lilac, Black, Matte White, Espresso, and Iridescent Yellow Beige.

GET THE LOOK

LIFT CONCEALER
The Lift Concealer naturally hides dark circles and minor complexion alterations. Its tensine-based formula improves the skin tone and smoothes the lines around the eyes. To get better results and visibly reduce dark circles, apply the Lift Concealer before and after the foundation.

EYE PRIME
Eye Prime is the ideal eyelid primer for long-lasting eye make up. As well as maximizing eyeshadow color, it reinforces its wear all through the day. You will no longer need to touch up your eye make up half way through the day. Happy to know that this palette includes 2 brushes (animal fur) and a big mirror~ It gives me even more reason to bring it with me when I go overseas the next time~ *thumbs up*

I had yet to create a look with this palette. Once I done one, I will blog about it~ I do hope I won't look like birds of paradise with all these strong colours! Lolx~
