Event & Swatches: Loreal Paris Shine Caresse lip color
Last month, I was invited to Equinox, Swissotel to view the new lip launch as well as an exclusive preview to the upcoming Les Ombres Eyeshadow, Curl Impact Collagene Extreme Resist Mascara and Lucent Magique Two-Way Powder Foundation launch by Loreal Paris.
Here I present the NEW Loreal Paris Shine Carasse lip color.

16th Jan 2013 - With the dawn of a new year, L’Oréal Paris Cosmetics is glad to celebrate a new generation of shine on your lips with Shine Caresse. Key magazine and newspaper editors, retailers, beauty bloggers, makeup artists and local celebrities joined us on the 14th Jan at Equinox, Swissotel in exploring this new lip launch as well as an exclusive preview to the upcoming Les Ombres Eyeshadow, Curl Impact Collagene Extreme Resist Mascara and Lucent Magique Two-Way Powder Foundation launch.
L’Oréal Paris presented the Shine Caresse show, artfully produced by
Jerome Wasthi and makeup looks created by Larry Yeo. Emcee Lavinia Tan
gave the audience a walkthrough of the inspiration behind each of the 8
shades as well as introducing our new ambassador, international model
Barbara Palvin.
To represent the spirit of Shine Caresse: youthful, fun, girly, sensuous
and audacious, the brand showcased three different scenes: the Shine
Caresse girl in the tub, on a Harley bike and as a rock star, each
wearing a different shade of Shine Caresse. It’s not a lipstick, not a
lip gloss nor is it a lip stain- it’s all in 1 because it has the color
intensity of a lipstick, the shine of a gloss and the long lastingness
of a lip stain. Shine Caresse is a new generation of lip colour, and
with 8 baby-doll shades, every girl is sure to find one for themselves.

Shine Carasse
Shine Carasse lip color is also a lip stain, it comes in 8 shades.
600 Venus, 603 Milady, 604 Bella, 605 Eve, 606 Lolita, 702 Juliette, 801 Princess, 900 Pretty Woman
Shine Carasse Packaging & Ingredients
All Shine Carasse ingredients are the same. On the box also shows the manufacturing date.
The content is viewable through the Shine Carasse transparent tube only near the oulet area. So you know how much of Shine Carasse you have left by peeking through the transparent casing.
The applicator has a tiny through hole in the middle, sometimes quite abit of lip color is trapped inside the hole (that is why the hole is not visible in the below pic).
Luxurious gold casing~ Shades names are labelled at the top of the tube.
Shine Carasse Swatches
Due to hole in the applicator that traps excess content, I spent a long time building layers of lip color for this swatch. With the applicator, I could not apply a 2nd layer without erasing the 1st one. It was such a headache to intensify the lip colors on my arm. (⌐_⌐")
Close-up. The 702 & 801 doesn't look like they have any shimmers in it at all. Totally not viewable in both flash & without flash pics.
After blending them out with the applicator... Sorry it look messy as the lip colors turned sticky after awhile.
Shine Carasse Stains
They stain on my arm after leaving them on for more than 5 mins.
Although 702 Juliette & 801 Princess look like red & similar in real life but when look closely, they differ. 702 looks like bright orange-red (instead of the reddish-red) and 801 looks bright orange with a hint of yellow.
Shine Carasse can be used as a lip stain/ base, alone as a lip color or, over the lipstick color to add shine to it and make it last longer.
Loreal Paris is generous in giving their products! I also received their 6 new eyeshadow palettes - Color Riche Less Ombres and Curl Impact Collagene Extreme Resist Mascara!
