Haraju-Cute Product Review: Diamond Beauty Cream Shadow ~ Cream Cheek ~ Diamond Blush

Awhile ago, I received a set of Diamond Beauty cosmetics and here I am reviewing them for the first time. ^_^
Actually I already own a Cream cheek and Diamond blush which were sitting in the drawers unopened! Hereby taking this chance to open up all and swatch them altogether!

Here are the DB cosmetics I'm going to review later on:
- Diamond Beauty Cream Shadow in 01 Pink Gold
- Diamond Beauty Cream Cheek in 01 Baby Pink
- Diamond Beauty Diamond Blush in Dolly Pink (DP)
- Diamond Beauty Cream Shadow in 02 Strawberry Pink
- Diamond Beauty Diamond Blush in Honey Orange (HO)

The sender took effort in decorating the parcel! I appreciate her hard work~ ^_^ If you realised, the small crystals are actually similar to the ones on the Diamond Blush casing. It's their signature design. That's why its call 'Diamond' Beauty ^_^

Opening up to see cute models on the poster~

I received these 3 products:
- Diamond Beauty Cream Shadow in 01 Pink Gold
- Diamond Beauty Cream Cheek in 01 Baby Pink
- Diamond Beauty Diamond Blush in Dolly Pink (DP)
In the official Diamond Beauty website, Cream Cheek and Cream Shadow are limited items. I'm not sure how limited they are, it seems like its always available at Haraju-Cute (Guardian Singapore). So if you already eyeing on them, get them now just incase they really are limited! ^_^

There are total 4 different looks to choose from and I chose the first one. I think the look is named as the Elegant Pink Look? ^_^

Elegant Pink Eye & Cheek Set
I love their beautiful clear acrylic casing~

Diamond Beauty Cream Shadow (01 Pink Gold)

It looks glossy with lost of glitter flecks packed in it! ^_^

Diamond Beauty Cream Cheek (01 Baby Pink)

Soooo smooth & creamy.. just feel like dipping my finger into it. ^,^
Baby pink cream cheek is very pale pink with lots of tiny shimmers (visible in here, but not visible in my swatch pics)

Diamond Blush (Dolly Pink / DP)

Spot the pool of white mica reflecting the light~ Like the Baby Pink cream cheek, this also has lots of tiny shimmers (not so visible when swatched)

Swatches
(left → right) Diamond Blush in DP, Cream Cheek in Baby Pink, Cream Shadow in Pink Gold
As I'm of a medium yellowish skin tone, these bluish pink blushes don't appear much on me when swatched once only. I need to go over several times to make it look obvious.

I'm not really sure why the cream shadow is named Pink Gold when there isn't any gold in it.. I see lots of white glitters with little pink and spots of blue.

Diamond Blush and Cream Cheek appear almost the same shade at certain angles. But in actual, the Diamond Blush is brighter pink than the Cream Cheek.

Diamond Beauty Cream Shadow (Pink Gold) Review
I first tried using the cream shadow as base, it creases on my lids quite badly as the it is pretty creamy & slightly greasy, it shifts around on my lids.
The next round I used it on top of my NARS smudgeproof eyeshadow base and the cream shadow doesn't shift anymore. Below shows full lid in Pink Gold, I feel that I applied a little too much cos it  look really frosty-white without any pink on my lids (perhaps its too pale and I'm not fair enough ^_^") and also looks quite cakey.

I applied Majolica Majorca Eyeshadow (BE286) over the Pink Gold to make it less frosty and hide the cakey look. I wore it out for a day, found no creases on my lids and everything's intact.

The next round I wore Pink Gold again ontop of my eyeshadow base but this time I applied thinly. I still see my lids looking somewhat cakey, but less frosty.

Then I applied GINO McCRAY Pink Eyeshadow over it. The Cream Shadow glitters seem to disappear when powder eyeshadow is applied over it.
Picture below is taken after wearing it for whole day. Also no creases, eyeshadow colour stayed for hours.
- the cream shadow shifts and creases when used directly on my lids
- doesn't shift when an eyeshadow base is used before it
- can't layer on too much as it will look pretty thick & cakey
- using finger to dab the shadow onto eyelid and a brush to blend it out works better than using brush alone to apply the shadow
- appear as whitish frost finish without any pink or gold when used on my lids
- the frosty finish is concealed when another powder eyeshadow is applied over it, leaving eyeshadow looking slightly glittery & the colour a little more intense
- a little of this cream shadow can be applied at the inner corner of eyes & outer corner undereye area to brighten up the eyes
I had yet to find out the best way to apply the cream shadow cos I find it a little hard to blend and make it look less cakey. However, when another powder eyeshadow is laid over it, it look perfect...but a little too thick for my liking. When I drew my eyes, I would debate.. should I or should I not use this cream shadow? (`ヘ´ ) hmmm~

Diamond Beauty Cream Cheek (Baby Pink) & Diamond Blush (Dolly Pink) Review
The look below is after applying both Cream Cheek (before face powder) and Diamond Blush (after face powder).
As the cream cheek is too light and unnoticeable on my skin tone which makes it hard to be captured in the pics, so I only took pics after applying both.
Diamond Blush is very pale but brighter pink than Cream Cheek so its still quite obvious on my skin.
Its like a neon pale pink... if you know what I mean. ^_^"
excuse me for my obvious face scars... ^_^"

Below pic taken after wearing it out for a day without touching up. The pink is still quite obvious

Since cream cheek is too pale to be seen on my skin, I shall show you how it looks like on the model. You gota be this fair to use Baby Pink Cream Cheek. hahax~ ^o^

And for Dolly Pink Diamond Blush, the model below is wearing it.. It look very pale too! O,O
- Cream cheek is cream to powder
- the cream feels a little bit greasy at first but feels pretty powdery after spreading it out
- matte finish
- tends to shift my foundation along with it when using a brush to apply
- using fingers to dab on is a better choice for me
- the colour grows intense when layered on
- stays well after wearing it out for hours
- doesn't melt off when my skin gets oily (my foundation at other areas melted off instead)
- is a good base for powder blush to last longer
- best suits very fair to fair skin tone

- Powder blush though on the pale side, still looks pretty neon pink on my medium skin tone
- last longer when use on top of cream cheek
- layer on to get a more intense colour
- easy to pick up by both synthetic & regular brushes
- it's powdery matte and the shimmers are not so visible

Diamond Beauty Cream Cheek (Strawberry Pink)
I'm gonna swatch these other blushes I had side by side with the other 3 that I reviewed! ^_^

Diamond Blush (Honey Orange)
Not bronze but a nice orangey gold shade... just like it described - Honey Orange! Yum~

Additional Swatches
(left → right) Cream Cheek in Strawberry Pink, Diamond Blush in Honey Orange
These 2 are alot more intense than the Elegant Pink ones, they showed up upon first swatch. ^_^ And they look soooo nice on my skin~ After seeing the swatches, I can't wait to use them now!~
