Haraju-Cute Product Review: Creer Beaute The Rose of Versailles Face Masks (Red & White Rose)

I had finally gave these 2 Rose of Versailles Face Masks a try despite not wanting to tear off the packaging cos the images are too pretty! Awesome drawings right?? Agree?!! ^o^

If you wish to know more of The Rose of Versailles story, click HERE where I'd put up some images of them and also a short summary of what is The Rose of Versailles. They are VERY POPULAR WAYYYYYYY BACK when we are still young! ^_,^

Creer Beaute The Rose of Versailles @Cosme
In year 2011, few of Creer Beaute The Rose of Versailles products were voted Top 3 at @Cosme.
And one of their products was The Rose of Versailles Oscar & Rosalie Face Mask (Refreshing Peach Scent) which was voted Top #1 under the face treatment mask category:

As I was only given the Red Rose and White Rose Face Masks so I'm going to review these 2 masks in this post~ ^^

The Rose of Versailles (La Rose de Versailles) Princess Antoinette Face Mask (Red Rose)
- Contain Collodial Platinum, Royal Jelly extracts and other plant extracts
- Hyaluronic acid
- Paraben Free
- Keep skin moisturised & nourished
- Gentle on your skin
- Ensure maximum absorption of serum

The mask sheet is normal thickness (not those very thin translucent kind). The mask is fully drenched in the Red rose serum and dripping too!
When I take the mask out, there are still quite alot of serum remaining inside the packaging.

The mask isn't thin kind so it doesn't look so translucent. The masks ok for my face except the nose area.

The mask wraps around my chin JUSTTTT nice.

There is an extra flap where you can flip up to cover the eyes if you are just lying down to enjoy a 15 mins face mask relaxing treatment. (◡‿◡)

Review
- Mask fits well to my face (my face is pretty wide at the sides and my forehead is tall too) except the nose area (I dun have ang mo nose! lolx~)
- the mask is very drenched with serum, a little bit hard to handle because it is dripping (but I like very wet mask!)
- the mask when put on face, starts to dry up about 10-15mins, so advisable not to put for longer than 15 mins.
- after taking out the mask, I can clearly see my face brightens up a little
- skin feels very moisturising & nourishing right after treatment
- the next day morning when I wash my face, I was awed to feel that my skin was 'bloated' with moisture!
- I can feel the difference in the skin elasticity and cheeks kinda go 'BOING BOING!' (I'm not kidding! ^_^)
- skin feels slightly smoother than before
- the effect of the treatment kinda last me only for 1.5 days

The Rose of Versailles (La Rose de Versailles) Lady Oscar Face Mask (White Rose)
- Contain Pearl Extract, Acelora extract and other plant extracts
- Hyaluronic acid
- Paraben Free
- Transparent skin
- Gentle on your skin
- Ensure maximum absorption of serum

The Rose of Versailles face masks always contain a lot of serum!

2nd trial, my face mask fits even nicer now~ My first mask was kinda messy and wrinkled. ^_^"

Review
- fitting of the mask is same as the Red Rose, all fits really well except the nose part kinda too long for my nose (my nose bridge area is pretty curved in)
- the mask is very drenched with serum, a little bit hard to handle because it is dripping (but I like very wet mask!)
- the mask when put on face, starts to dry up about 10-15mins, so advisable not to put for longer than 15 mins
- at the point of putting on the mask, I caught a pretty strong scent of alcohol (after checking ingredients, indeed alcohol level is pretty high. if you do not like alcohol, you can choose other masks with lesser content of it)
- after taking out the mask, my skin is seen to be a lot fairer than my neck (wow O_O") and appears to look a bit pale...like transparent (i like pale skin lolx~)
- after blending the rest of the serum and lightly patting it to get it absorbed by my skin, my skin returns back to normal but still slightly fairer than usual
- after skin absorb the serum, my skin feels soft and supple
- the transparent skin effects from the mask wore off the next day
- skin however feels very smooth the next morning (I did exfoliation before masking usually so the serum can be absorbed easily)

Overall Review
I like both masks though they gave me totally different results and benefits my skin in different ways. After much thought, I think I would prefer to go for the Red Rose Mask as it really nourished my skin very well without my skin feeling irritated/ too oily etc. The moisturising effects was pretty great as I did feel rather big difference when I was touching my cheeks, it felt pumped up with moisture.
For my somewhat aging skin (wrinkles on forehead, laugh lines etc..) I require a moisture more than a whitening mask (though I also have scars etc.. sigh.. <_<")
Anyhoo, I am intending to get the Oscar & Rosalie Face Mask to give it a try too since that is the No. 1 mask @Cosme! ^_^
